05/04/2013 Save the Date: "I Love My Park Day". The Webber Park  Association and the Village of  Sleepy Hollow are hosting a  park clean-up, in Douglas Park on Saturday May 4th, 2013  from 10am-3pm.  Open to all residents, guests  and families. Join your neighbors, including a visit from our local Boyscout Troop, in the 3nd annual  maintenance day of Douglas Park Playground.  A generous lunch donation will be provided by Subway of Tarrytown. Bring lunch, garden tools-gloves-insect repellent, and See you on May 4th!

1/24/2013 Community Outreach Support Meeting: The Village of Sleepy Hollow, along with Phelps Memorial Hospital is providing a community meeting to help residents deal with the recent events of  Super Storm Sandy;  Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy and the heartbreaking fatalities in Sleepy Hollow.   Phelps Hospital staff will be on hand to  answer questions about PTSD, Depression, treatment or other relevant topics.The needs of the group will be  assessed so that the Hospital staff involved can  act accordingly. This meeting is opened to the entire community and will be held at Sleepy Hollow Village Hall, on the second floor, on Thursday January 24, 2013.The meeting will start promptly at 7:00pm until 8:30 pm. There will be a Spanish translator available for this meeting. The following Phelps Memorial Hospital Center employees are planning to attend: Judy Burns, LCSW, Director, Behavioral Health Services Rachel Schoolcraft, M.D., Program Psychiatrist and Abby Schneider, LCSW, Program Director of Phelps Counseling. 12/08/2012 Webber Park Holiday Dinner Party
Saturday, December 8, 2012; 6-9 pm - Eagles Hall, Sleepy Hollow. Come and enjoy Music - Food - Crafts and Light Supper. Bring a dessert to share; delivery after 2pm on 12/08 to the Eagles Hall party area. Suggested donation: $20 per family, or $5 per person, to cover the cost of renting Eagles Hall. Seniors are free! 10/21/2012 Holiday Party Planning Meeting! Open to all residents who would like to volunteer in making this year's party happen. Please come to a one hour meeting, Sunday October 21st at 4pm, 91 New Broadway, Sleepy Hollow. The Holiday Party is scheduled for Saturday December 8th. Always alot of fun with very minimal time commitment.

05/05/2012 The Webber Park  Association, with the Village of  Sleepy Hollow and SHEC, is hosting a  Family Volunteer Day in  Douglas Park on Saturday May 5, 2012  from 10am-3pm.  Rain date is 5/6 from 10am-3pm. Open to all residents, guests  and families. Join your neighbors in the 2nd annual  maintenance day of Douglas Park Playground.  Fun on-site activities include a nature walk and a special children’s activity at 1pm.  Coffee donation by Coffe Labs and other goodies from Buttercup and Jake to sample. Generous plant donations by Westover Landscape Design and Rosedale Nurseries. Bring lunch, garden tools-gloves-insect repellant, and See you on May 5th!

04/14/2012 There will be a brief meeting at 4pm, prior to the Douglas Park Family Volunteer Day, to firm up the activities/needs for the event. Meeting will be in Douglas Park, near the playground. If rain - at the Clayton's residence 91 New Broadway, Sleepy Hollow. If you are interesed in volunteering for the event, please see our Volunteer page, and hit 'submit'.

03/03/2012 On Saturday, March 3rd; 3:00-5:00pm, a planning meeting will be held for the next Family Volunteer Day, in Douglas Park, on behalf of the Webber Park Association. Location: 124 Van Tassel, 2nd Floor. Our 2nd Family Volunteer Day is scheduled for May 5th 2012 with the SHEC.  Please join us to hear about the plans for this year's event. Invitation is open to all who are available to assist.  Kids are welcome with a parent. Coffee/tea/snack served.

February 2012

02/26/12 Sunday, Feb 26, (1-3 pm) the candidates for the Village Board will be at the Munroe house, 63 New Broadway.  Both Jennifer Lobato and Dave Bedell are candidates from Webber Park.  They will introduce their running mates, listen to your concerns and take questions on their plans for our neighborhood and village.

10/22/2011 Webber Park Community Tag Sale
One person's junk is another's treasure! We will be having a Webber Park Community Tag Sale
Saturday, October 22 from 10-3 (raindate 10/23) There will be signs posted at the entrance of Webber Park, and local event calendars as well.  Simply search your home for hiddentreasures, and put them out on your front lawn or sidewalk to sell!   Good luck with your sale.


July 2011 - Fourth of July Picnic in the Park

07/02/2011, A casual picnic with all residents and friends invited. Everyone brought something to eat and play with/ Thanks to the Village for providing a public bathroom, freshly cut grass and removal of poison ivy. If  you enjoyed this picnic and would like to suggest a Labor Day gathering, please submit comments to the 'Volunteer'  page.

May 2011 - Family Day in Douglas Park

05/01/2011, Join us for May Day! Our contracted playground company will coordinate with Webber Park residents to construct an element of the natural playground in Douglas Park. A "Labyrinth". To see where, within the park, this was placed, please click on 'Friends of Douglas Park' and view the plan map, or go and visit the new playground.

Invasive plant/weed clean up; Hosted by resident David Bedell with volunteer help of residents and the Boy Scouts. you are interested in joining this activity to beautify the park on the next date for summer/fall 2011,** please submit your info on the volunteer page**.


December 2010 - Holiday Party

12/04/2010 at 6:30pm, Eagles Hall.Volunteers will be needed for setup and breakdown, along with a $20 suggested nominal donation per family. Your donation should be sent to Donna Gates, 53 New Broadway.

October 31 2010 - Halloween Day

New Broadway will be closed between the evening hours for a safer trick-or-treat. Have fun and be safe!

June 2010 - Community Tag Sale

Our first successful community event for the season-Webber Park held a community wide tag sale on June 26th, 2010 from 10am-3pm. All residents in the area between New Broadway, Route 9 and Gordon Avenue had items for sale. The turn out was great, considering it was the first summer weekend after school's end. Another tag sale is planned for the fall, date to be announced
